Ringo and the sign

Ringo was very good this weekend. We went shopping on Saturday to buy Ringo and Daniel some new fall clothes. Daniel and Ringo stopped in front of this sign...Do you know what it means? "Careful when crossing...cars..."

Field Trip to the Fair

We saw a variety of animals at the fair.


I see one brown cow mooing.

I see one turkey gobbling.

I see a slow turtle.

I see one slithering snake.

I see two cute kangaroos.

I see one kangaroo drinking water.

I see one brown camel eating hay.

I see three billy goats gruff!

I see one striped zebra.


We also saw many arts and crafts.

The students really enjoyed looking at this teddy bear blanket. The blanket won 2nd place. WOW! Have you ever won an award? Hmmmmm......maybe you could write about that for Writer's workshop.

Ringo gets a haircut!

On Saturday, Ringo and Mrs. D. visited Vonda's Hair Studio and Ringo received his first hair cut. Ringo sat very still in the chair. He was a little scared but he was very good. Doesn't he look terrific! When have you been to see a hair stylist? That would be a good topic for you to write about during Writer's Workshop...
Sunday, Ringo, Mrs. D. and Mrs. O'Neil went out to eat at Olive Garden. We ate so much food! We had a great time. Ringo ordered off of the Children's Menu. What is your favorite restaurant to dine at? What do you like to eat at your favorite restaurant? Hmmmm.......maybe you could write about your favorite restaurant during Writer's Workshop.

"Reading Takes You Everywhere Safari Show"

Today the students at Sanders were treated to a show that featured music, puppets, laughter, and emphasized reading. WOW! Chad Crews visited our school today with an important message: "Good readers can learn all kinds of things, meet all kinds of people, and go on all kinds of adventures!"
Mrs. Kee is introducing our special guest to the students.

Do you remember this cute little animals name? Hmmmmmmmmm........

Yikes! It's a snake.....a corn snake named Cornbread. Do you remember any facts about snakes that Mr. Chad shared with us?

Mr. Chad picked several teachers to pretend to be jungle animals. Mrs. D. was the monkey. But remember.....The monkey was NOT late! The elephant was late! Mr. Butler was a zebra and Mrs. Smith was a tiger! We had so much fun! Thank you for cheering for us!

Inside the jar is a tarantula! Very cute and very hairy!

Mr. Chad said that he could get out of this jacket in exactly two minutes......We all counted down during the last ten seconds 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1......Yeah! Mr. Chad did it! It was amazing!

Mr. Chad emphasized the importance of books to all of the students. He showed the students his favorite book. What is your favorite book? I enjoy reading Where the Wild Things Are...

Of course Ringo went along too! Ringo really loved the show and was delighted to meet the python snake. Please come back soon Chad Crews! The students and the faculty really enjoyed your show!

Ringo loves pizza!

Ringo enjoyed his weekend with the Stubblefield family! Ringo and Kyle (Mrs. Stubblefield's son) played all weekend long! Mrs. Stubblefiled ordered pizza for dinner..."Yummy!", said Ringo. Pizza is one of Ringo's favorite foods to eat for dinner. What is your favorite food to eat for dinner? Thank you Mrs. Stubblefield! Ringo had a blast.

Birthday Party Fun!

On Saturday...Ringo, Daniel, and Mrs. D. attended a very special birthday party for Gracie..
We are so excited! We love parties. Ringo, Daniel, and Mrs. D. have arrived at the party and we are signing in. The party will be in the "Yellow Party Room". We can't wait.
Ringo wishes Gracie a Happy Fourth Birthday! This is Ringo's first party...

Gracie, Ringo, Oinky, and Daniel say hello and are getting ready to go have some fun.


Ringo, Stormy, and Cassidy are taking a break from the jumping to rest. There is so much to do.

Mrs. Lovett and her daughter also attended the party. Ringo loves to meet new friends. He can do many tricks....He is showing off right now by doing a head stand. Silly Ringo!

The food was delicious! "Yum! Yum! Yum!", said Ringo.




The party is over! It is time to go. Thank you for inviting us Gracie! Daniel, Ringo, and Mrs. D. had a blast! We can't wait until next year.




The fun thing about going to birthday parties is EVERYBODY gets a surprise! Ringo and Daniel loved their goodie bag. Playdoh is so much fun. And of course CANDY! Don't forget to brush your teeth after eating the candy.



After the party, Daniel, Ringo, and Mrs. D. went to the School Box to buy some books for the kindergarten students. Ringo helped pick out the books. Ringo loves to read. Make sure you read a book to your parents tonight. Remember last week in class we talked about main characters? Who is the main character in your favorite book?
Ringo had a fun weekend...but he can't wait to come back to school to see all of his kindergarten friends! Enjoy your day.

Ringo's Labor Day Weekend

Hello Superstars,
Ringo, Daniel, and Mrs. DeCarlo spent the holiday visiting family members. Ringo always enjoys visiting and is a good house guest. I took a few pictures so you could see what Ringo did over the weekend.

Buckle up, Ringo! Ringo loves to travel. He is ready to go and visit grandmother and other family members this long weekend.


Whew! We made it! There was traffic on the highway but we made it to grandmother's house without any problems.

Ringo, Aunt Jenny, and Mrs. DeCarlo made a quick stop at Petco to buy Baggio some treats. Ringo enjoyed looking at the fish.


Ringo is relaxing outside on the picnic table. We are getting ready to cook some delicious food for dinner. We hope it doesn't rain!



Daniel and Ringo love to play outside at grandmother's house.


Sunday was fun day! Ringo went swimming...


and Ringo also went 4-wheeling! WOW! Ringo had a blast. We hope everybody enjoyed their long weekend as well. See you tomorrow! Mrs. D.
